Maredret Altus

Discover the beers of the Sisters of Maredret Abbey, a range brewed with spelt and plants, inspired by Saint Hildegard of Bingen. Spelt provides floral, nutty, slightly bitter notes and supports the yeasty aromas of the Altus. The use of plants, notably juniper berries for Altus, gives it its unique taste. 

Maredret Altus develops a warm spiced bouguet with notes of clove, hay and juniper berries. The hop aromas will remind you of freshly cut grass and the caramel flavors gives the abbey beer a comforting edge.
