Budweiser Budvar brewery is known for its original Budweiser, which is one of the best-selling beers from the Czech Republic. The Budweiser Budvar brewery was established back in 1895. They have a long tradition of brewing authentic lager and still brew according to the same principles and methods today. The brewery is known for making lager of the very highest quality using the best Czech raw materials, namely Saaz hops, Moravia malt and naturally soft water from their 300 meter deep wells. The beer goes through a storage or maturation process in their storage cellars (hence the origin of storage - storage) which gives the beer a complementary depth and character in the taste. Their beer is geographically protected and is not produced anywhere else in the world.

The brewery is owned by the Czech Republic and aims to brew authentic Czech quality beer to promote Czech history and culture around the world.
